I begin to work in 1977. My first work is at MDS, a company from USA that 1977 have a site in Italy. I start to work kike Customer Enginner at the MDS Italia. The computers that i repair are big. The chips are not frequent in 1977. For my education at work i go for 45 days in Rome. I live and work in Milano, i was young when i start to work on computer. Computers are not frequently used in Italy. Only some big company have Computers (Bank, Insurance, Industries). When i finish my training with other technicians, i start to repair computers for MDS in Milano and near the city. I make more travel for work and every tree years i must change my car because that have much kilometers. After 8 years in this company, i have changed work. In 1984 many little company that sell PC born in Milano. The PC are the computers of the moment and i go to work on IBM and Apple PC. This experience is very important for my work. After 2 years a big company need person that know PC and LAN and i am ready for a new experience. In this company there many terminal that are connected with a big mainframe. In a year this terminals must be changed with PC. In my first year in this company i have chenged 300 terminals with PC and the old Control Unit are chenged with little LAN. My work in these years was the installation in all the Lombardia region of PC, Printer and LAN. The office that i have installed are 160 and with me there are other technician for same work. This work is started in 1987 and wa have installed the last PC in 1989. After the work for me and my collegues have changed. The PC that we have installed need support and assistance. At the same time we go to install PC in new office. After 2 or 3 years all the network of our company must change for better performance. We go to make another tour of all offices to change modem and other hardware for the new network. After 20 years i am in the same company, now my work is different i work with GIS software and GPS. I work in my office that is near my home. I have a son (Lorenzo) that are 9 years old. I like my work. At home i have many hobbies, music, internet and when is time of holidays i like travels, photo and camping. I have a old motorhome and with my family go to find the best place in Italy. Now i finish this article, but i think that soon i come here for the next.
